This is why we must stop and say the TRUTH DOES MATTER TO ME when you view this ask yourself, Who is getting all the glory,Look at the suroundings and ask yourself is this more like a rock club then a place and time set aside to WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH A HOLY GOD.

This exhibit simply poses the question if this equals 'deep worship'?
Again I say to the church goer seek after true bible based worship and true exposit preaching.
And to the Pastor's I say say to you again, go to the Lord and He will show you in His Word the look and feel of His church, stop giving the people what the world gives them and give them the Word of God.

Rick Warren's comment that "God’s presence must be sensed in the service. More people are won to Christ by feeling(emphasis added)God’s presence than by all of our apologetic arguments combined" may be true, but his underlying assumption is not.
If you read this article, you'll see that he seems to think that how we worship somehow affects whether or not we will feel God's presence, and that is what converts or "saves" a person. In other words, he assumes that we can do something to draw God near to us. I can't find a biblical basis for this assumption. Scripture clearly teaches that God will draw unto himself those he chooses. And, God speaks to us through his Word. Therefore, mankind can use whatever form of music,dancing or Bible translation we'd like. Those things are worthless. They mean nothing to God. What matters is the heart of the believer and God's Sovereign Grace in drawing men unto Himself. Our comfort does not matter, our feelings or emotions do not matter, the audio visuals we use do not matter, our surroundings do not matter. What matters the most is God's Truth as revealed in His Holy Word. That, and only that, is what will open the eyes of the blind and "convert," if you will, a non-believer. If Mr. Warren would simply proclaim the Truth of God's Word, he wouldn't need to worry about the rest. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." Maybe Mr. Warren should spend more time reading God's Word than writing books and articles about how non-believers should be treated just like believers. If he did, he'd find his logic a bit flawed.
I urge you -as I do- to pray for Mr. Warren and the influence he has on our generation -that his words might be wiped clean from the memories of those that hear them, and that the truth of God's Word be etched into their hearts instead.
