Below is a quote from a local seeker friendly pastor. As you can see the main emphasis is on people and how they feel in coming to church not God and His Word. But what is missed by the seeker friendly pastor’s is that God will add to the numbers as He see’s fit.
We do not need Multi Media Presentations, We don’t need Contemporary Music, and most of all people do not need Practical Messages. What people do need today is for there pastor to study the Word of God and feed them ALL of Scripture.
The final point that must be made here is that as Pastor’s our roll is not to water down the Word of God so that the un- saved can understand it. The Bible tells us that no one seeks after God. You see unless God Himself opens the eye’s of the sinner and they are drawn unto His Son Jesus Christ then they will never see the Word of God for what it Truly is.
Today I write this as a word of warning to the many pastor’s who are only concerned with filling your church building. Remember we are CALLED BY GOD to Feed His sheep. And taking into account what is written below a Modern Day Reformation of God’s Holy Church must begin now.
